Tom Brady is off to the worst start to a season in his NFL career, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-5 following their Week 8 loss against the Baltimore Ravens. After the loss, Brady put up a statement on his Instagram story revealing that he and Gisele Bundchen are divorced.

There have been continuous rumors about the couple's split since Brady returned from his retirement. It seems that the rumors were true and the couple have gone their separate ways. The divorce with Gisele might result in Brady continuing to play football beyond this season.

Following Brady's divorce, Nick Adams took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Adams is a big fan of the quarterback and is often endorsed by Donald Trump. He thinks that Tom Brady's divorce is a power move of sorts. Here's what Adams said:

"I've just stepped away from the event, because I have a really important message that I want to talk to you about. My mate Tom, Tommy, the machine gun, Brady, Tom Brady, alpha male, ultimate, unequivocal, incontrovertible. undoubtable."

Adams continued:

"The man, the myth, the legend, the guy pretty much walks on water. And in my book, he's just gone to even greater heights. You know why? Because he cut the cord. He got rid of the rubbish. He said bye bye to Giselle and I bet you're right now he is welcoming about 18 Different cheerleaders with wonderful attributes, to put it mildly."

The controversial figure concluded by saying:

"Good old Tommy celebrating big tonight. And I think Tommy Brady is showing us all how it's done as an alpha male."

It would appear that Nick Adams may have been incorrect about Brady's activities, as the quarterback spent the weekend with his children.

Tom Brady's career status after this season has also become much clearer as there is a high possibility that he will continue playing. Whether it will be for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or someone else remains to be seen.

NFC Divisional Playoffs - Los Angeles Rams v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last season, the Los Angeles Rams forced Tom Brady into retirement after defeating the Buccaneers in the NFC Divisional Round game. Brady returned to playing football in the offseason and will be out for revenge against the Rams in Week 9.

The Rams haven't looked like the same team as last season, but then nor have the Buccaneers. Both franchises will see this as a great opportunity to pour more misery over the other and get back to winning ways.

The Buccaneers are currently favored by -2.5 points, and it will be interesting to see if Brady can put on a display on Sunday.
