Super Bowl 2023 will be one of the year's biggest sporting events. The Super Bowl is the ultimate combination of sports and entertainment in the United States.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday. Given how well they've played over the last five months, this isn't a surprising matchup.

Both teams finished the regular season 14-3 and entered the NFL Playoffs as the top seeds in their respective conferences. However, only one team will be taking home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Super Bowl LVII will begin at 6:30 p.m. Eastern on FOX and Fox Deportes.

The Super Bowl normally lasts between three and four hours, including the pre-game performances and halftime show.

The halftime break at the Super Bowl can go up to 30 minutes.

The NFL usually puts on a lavish musical production during halftime. Popular performers like Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez have performed in recent years. Rihanna, a popular singer, will perform during the halftime show this year.

In the event that there is no overtime, the fourth quarter should begin around 7:30 p.m. (MST) / 2:30 a.m. (GMT) and the game should end around 10 p.m. (MST) / 3:30 a.m. (GMT). Only one Super Bowl has ever required overtime. This was in 2017, when the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28.

Chiefs and Eagles' road to the Super Bowl

One of the top betting favorites heading into the season were the Kansas City Chiefs. It was anticipated that the team would face a tough challenge in the AFC West this season.

But in the end, the division proved to be uncompetitive. Kansas City suffered just three defeats and with a 14-3 record, easily won its seventh straight division title. They secured the top seed in the AFC and received a bye in the first round.

The Eagles, meanwhile, started 8-0 and suffered their first loss in Week 10 when they were beaten 32-21 by the Washington Commanders at home.

After finishing 14-3, the team had a bye in the first round of the playoffs and faced the New York Giants in the divisional round. With a 38-7 victory, Philadelphia advanced to the championship game.

The Eagles defeated San Francisco 31-7 to advance to the Super Bowl.
