Last night Odell Beckham Jr. made an appearance on 'Thursday Night Football on the Shop' and talked about his future. He gave everyone a hint about his expectations and when we could see him playing on the field.

The Dallas Cowboys are rumored to be leading in the race to sign him, but recent reports have emerged that stated OBJ might not be ready to play this season. Following that revelation, it was believed that the Cowboys might no longer pursue him.

However, Odell Beckham Jr.'s latest comments further clarified the situation as OBJ himself has claimed that he doesn't want to play in the regular season this year.

Here's what OBJ said about his plans this season:

“I would like to be in a stable environment, get up at 6 am, leave at 6 pm for 4 weeks, and then let’s talk about it. I’m not saying I couldn’t step in and play regular season, but I don’t see the point.”

With these comments from OBJ, it seems like he is no longer interested in signing with the New York Giants, as they aren't as big of a Super Bowl contender compared to the other teams.

The Cowboys still have their own doubts about Odell's fitness, but we can see the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs jumping at this opportunity to get the star receiver.

Odell Beckham Jr. is no longer interested in returning to the Los Angeles Rams as they are no longer in a situation that OBJ is looking to get into.

Odell Beckham Jr. is looking to sign for a Super Bowl contender who can offer him a longer contract. As a result, some teams have backed away from signing him.

Last season, OBJ had 44 catches for 537 yards and scored five touchdowns in 14 games in 2021. In the playoffs, he had 21 catches for 288 yards and scored two touchdowns in four games.

There is no denying that Odell Beckham Jr. is an impactful player who will boost the chances of a team that wants to win the Super Bowl. Whether or not he will be able to play this season is likely to determine his future.
