Is Myles Garrett playing tonight vs Baltimore Ravens in Week 7?

New England Patriots v Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett is one of the best players on the Cleveland Browns and is the reason why the team is afloat. The star defensive end will play versus the Browns' AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, in Week 7. Garrett has been bothered by a sprained left shoulder that he injured when he was in a car accident last month. The two-time All-Pro sat out the final minutes of Week 6's 38-15 loss to the New England Patriots.

He didn't practice in the middle of the week so he could rest for an additional day. While speaking to the media ahead of the Browns' matchup versus the Ravens, the defensive end spoke on Cleveland's defense.

Garrett said:

"We’re trying to put on a show too," "So as far as our defense, we're trying to rock out and have a great game against them as well. We both know we're just competitors. It’s just about who’s going to be able to execute and get each other out of each other’s game plan."

Myles Garrett's Fantasy Football Update & Predictions

Garrett currently has 44.5 fantasy points, averaging 8.5 fantasy points per game. Against the Patriots in Week 6, he racked up 18.5 points with 6 tackles and 2 sacks for fantasy owners. In 8 career games versus the Ravens, he has 3.5 sacks. The former top overall pick also has 18 tackles and a forced fumble versus Baltimore. Expect him to get into the backfield and get after quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Myles Garrett Alternative Picks For Your Fantasy Team

One alternative for Garrett would be Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who's facing the Detroit Lions in Week 7. Lawrence has 19 fantasy points over the last two weeks and could wreak havoc versus the Lions offensive line. Another option is defensive end Brian Burns of the Carolina Panthers.

Burns is facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that offensive line as he has 42.1 fantasy points this season. The Panthers star could see some double teams from that Tampa Bay offensive line but should still be able to make an impact.
