Before the injury, Pacheco rushed for 90 yards on 19 carries.

Isiah Pacheco injury update: What happened to Chiefs RB?

Isiah Pacheco fractured his right fibula, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Pacheco is expected to be put on the injured reserve list with the leg injury. The Chiefs running back suffered the injury with two minutes left in the fourth quarter after he got his lower leg caught underneath a defender on a tackle.

After the game, Chiefs coach Andy Reid said the injury was a serious one.

"The only major injury would be Pacheco, with his ankle," Reid said, via SI. "We'll just have to see, he's having some tests done on it now, X-rays, all that stuff, so I don't have anything for you [about] exactly what it is, but he came out with the ankle...
"I don't actually know right now. I've just got to see — they're doing all the stuff right now, so I haven't really had a chance to talk to him or anything there about it."

Pacheco was seen leaving the stadium on crutches and a walking boot.

When will Isiah Pacheco return?

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is out for the foreseeable future.

According to Chiefs beat writer Matt Derrick, the fracture is in Pacheco's right ankle, and the timeline is around 12 weeks.

Fantasy managers should be extremely worried about Pacheco's injury. If fantasy managers do have Pacheco, they should look to try and add Samaje Perine from waivers, who should become the Chiefs' starting running back.

Perine was the Chiefs' backup, and he will get plenty of carries along with rookie Carson Steele. Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also unavailable until Week 5, so as long as Perine plays well, he will be the starting running back going forward.
