On June 5, Jalen Ramsey committed to getting a full-leg tattoo in one session and had to go under anesthesia to finish it. The tattoo was done by the team at Lakimii Painless. It tells the story of his NCAA and NFL journey, right from Florida State to playing for the Jaguars, Rams and now Dolphins.

Lakimii Painless' official Instagram posted a highlight reel showing the entire process that Ramsey underwent.

While the full design hasn’t been revealed, his past tattoos include lions, swords and Bible verses. It shows how he sees himself as a strong protector.

This isn’t his first big tattoo either. In 2023, while recovering from knee surgery, he got a huge tattoo across his chest that included a Bible, a lamb and a toy soldier.

All this is happening while Ramsey is also facing big changes in his NFL career. He and the Dolphins agreed in April to look for a trade, and now things are heating up. He skipped mandatory minicamp, and a trade could happen soon.

The Rams, his former team, are a fan-favorite option since he won a Super Bowl there. But the Las Vegas Raiders are also interested, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have been mentioned as well.

Ramsey still has four years left on his contract, including a big $21.1 million salary in 2025. Because of his age and the size of that contract, Miami probably won’t get much in return, maybe just a mid-to-late round draft pick.

Mike McDaniel keeps it real about Jalen Ramsey's trade

Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel didn’t hold back when asked about Jalen Ramsey missing mandatory minicamp. The star CB and the team are still working on a trade, and Ramsey chose not to show up as talks continue. But McDaniel isn’t letting it shake him.

When reporters asked if he was surprised things hadn’t been sorted out yet, McDaniel gave a straight-up answer.

"I don't personally ... give a shit about what I feel," McDaniel said. "I don't even really go down that road of 'How do I feel about it?' My job is to react and control my controllables and make sure that people are moving in one direction appropriately. Business is business. The opportunity that business does provide in the offseason is a rep to the team about handling noise."

Ramsey played 17 games last season after missing part of the year before with a knee injury. Though he is still under contract through 2028, the cornerback and the Dolphins agreed in April to look for a trade.

That decision came just months after Jalen Ramsey signed a huge extension worth $72.3 million.
