Jordan Love suffered a knee injury during the team's season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Initially, it was feared that the young quarterback had suffered a season-ending injury, but later it was revealed that Love had just suffered an MCL sprain.

The Green Bay Packers star returned to practice this week and could play on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. In a recent conversation with James Jones and Amber Theoharis on 'Two Gs in a Pod', Packers running back Josh Jacobs revealed that there was a chance that Love could have played in Week 2.

Jacobs mentioned that due to the uncertainty surrounding the situation, the players were undecided about the game plan for the opponent, as Malik Willis and Love are completely different quarterbacks.

In Love's absence, Willis showed composure and led the team to a big 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He completed 12/14 throws for 128 yards and also connected with Dontayvion Wicks for a touchdown. Josh Jacobs was the star of that game, as he rushed for 151 yards on 32 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

According to reports, the Green Bay Packers will decide Jordan Love's availability for Week 3 just before the game. They will assess his situation on Sunday and then determine whether or not Malik Willis will start against his former team.

Initially, the team expected Love to be out for around six weeks, but he has made a remarkable recovery and is on track to return after missing just one game. Josh Jacobs mentioned that Love had a shot to play in Week 2, which means he has a real chance of playing this Sunday against the Titans.

If Jordan Love doesn't play in Week 3, Jacobs is expected to carry the same load as the team will heavily rely on their run game, with Willis occasionally making plays like he did against the Colts.

The 25-year-old quarterback signed a four-year $220 million contract extension with the Packers before the start of the season. Before getting injured in Week 1, he threw for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception with a passer rating of 83.0
