NBA superstar Kevin Durant believes Davante Adams is in the right to request a trade. The star receiver requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this week.
Adams reportedly is focused on winning a Super Bowl as he's in his 11th season in the NFL. The star receiver doesn't believe the Raiders have a chance at winning the Super Bowl which played a role in the trade request.
Although some Raiders fans were disappointed with the trade request, Durant believes Adams is in the right to request a trade as he wants to win.

“I think Davante knows exactly what he’s doing. He demanded a trade so that’s saying a lot. That’s saying everything," Durant said on the Up & Adams Show. "He can just sit back and see what the league says after that. He’s put in so much work already that he don’t need to say much. He don’t need to think about much. He told his organization what he wanted to do in his career and now it’s on them to facilitate it.”
It's reported that the Raiders are looking for a second-round pick, but a first-round pick could very well be the final price for the star receiver.
Adams has recorded 18 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown this season. Adams won't play in Week 5 due to a hamstring injury.
Where could Davante Adams be traded to?

Following Davante Adams requesting a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, it was reported several teams showed interest in him.
However, according to ESPN, Adams has the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints high on his list to be traded to, according to ESPN.
"Adams, 31, ideally would like to play with a quarterback he knows. The Jets have Aaron Rodgers, Adams' former teammate with the Green Bay Packers. The Saints have Derek Carr, Adams' former teammate at Fresno State and with the Las Vegas Raiders," ESPN's Adam Schefter reporter.
The Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Kansas City Chiefs have also shown interest in the star pass catcher.
Adams is still owed $13.5 million for the rest of the 2024 NFL season, his salary for the year is at $17.5 million. In his NFL career, Adams has 890 receptions for 10,990 yards and 96 touchdowns in 11 years.
