Cooper Kupp, the Los Angeles Rams' star receiver, went down in the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers due to a lower-body injury. Rams fans were scared about the health of the prolific receiver, who has arguably been their team's best player this season.

Kupp talked about his injury after the game and felt didn't seem to be in too much pain. Test results will come out later, and that will give a better overview of his status going forward.

Here's what Cooper Kupp said about his injury against the 49ers:

"All right now, we'll know more you know, the next few days just figure out what exactly is going on but you can feel good pretty good right now. Yeah, I mean right now everything's you know, things are pointing towards me I'm dodging a bullet."

Kupp added:

"So hopefully that's the case do move forward here. But, guys, I feel pretty good right now."

Prior to his injury against the 49ers, Cooper Kupp was having a great game as he had eight receptions for 79 yards and had a touchdown as well. The Rams were once again hammered by their neighbors as they lost the game 31-14.

The Rams will be facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week and the availability of Kupp could prove to be the deciding factor in that crucial game.

Following the loss to the 49ers, the Los Angeles Rams are now 3-4 and are in third place in the NFC West. The reigning Super Bowl champions need to turn their season around quickly as they might even fail to make the playoffs this season.

The 49ers are looking pretty good and have a great chance of winning the division. The Seahawks are currently on top in the NFC West, and how they play going further into the season also remains to be seen.

The Rams will be fighting the likes of the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys for a wildcard berth in the playoffs, and that won't be easy.

If Cooper Kupp is sidelined for a few weeks then that will make their task even tougher. Quarterback Matthew Stafford isn't looking like the same quarterback from last season, and how the Rams react going forward will be interesting to see.
