Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently ended his darkness retreat.
The 39-year-old quarterback went on a darkness reatreat in self-isolation in Oregon on Monday and checked out Wednesday afternoon.
Rodgers went on the trip to disconnect from the world while helping him focus on deciding for his next move. While some people thought it was crazy, stupid and dumb, some are backing him up to go on his retreat.

Analyst and former NFL player Mark Schlereth said on The Herd with Colin Cowherd that he didn't mind Rodgers going on his unique retreat.
Schlereth said:
"So each his own, man, whatever, whatever gets you ready, whatever floats your boat, I'm okay with that. Me personally, I've never done a darkness retreat. I don't really have any interest in doing a darkness retreat.
"But if that. If that's what you want to do, man, I don't have any issues with that. I'm sure I do a lot of things that people look at like I mow my lawn three times a week. I'm sure most people think I'm an idiot and they're probably right, but I enjoy that."
Will Aaron Rodgers retire, get traded, or return to the Green Bay Packers?
There are many different things that can happen to Aaron Rodgers this off-season. He can choose to retire, stay with the Packers, or force a trade to a new team.
Rodgers will be entering the 19th season of his career if he chooses not to retire. He won a Super Bowl with the Packers in his career, but it was all the way back in the 2010 season. The Packers have made multiple NFC Championships since then with Rodgers, but have never been back to the Super Bowl.
He could stick with Packers for another season or two and retire as a Packer.
There could be many QB-needy teams in the league taking an interest in Rodgers. The Las Vegas Raiders and the New York Jets have been linked to potentially acquiring Rodgers in a trade.
If Rodgers were to retire, he would retire as a four-time league MVP with a Super Bowl victory and 10 Pro Bowl honors.
Since Aaron Rodgers is done with his retreat, we should be closer to figuring out what he decides to do.
