Aaron Rodgers' future with the Green Bay Packers is still uncertain, leading to widespread misconceptions about the franchise. Many believe Jordan Love is ready to be the Packers' starting quarterback, but what if Aaron Rodgers ends up staying in Green Bay?

After three years of waiting, it is quite unlikely that Love would want to remain on the bench behind Rodgers for another season. In a recent mock draft, The Athletic's Matt Schneidman predicted the Packers to draft another quarterback.

Schneidman noted in his mock draft analysis that the Packers should draft Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker in the third round. This is if Aaron Rodgers remains with the team, which might lead to Jordan Love getting traded.

Hooker is currently rehabbing from an ACL injury, but he demonstrated in his final year of college that he is a competent quarterback. While Hendon Hooker recovers from his injuries, he can learn under Aaron Rodgers, while the four-time NFL MVP will be free to lead his team again.

Trading Jordan Love is going to be a very tough decision for the Green Bay Packers. They have spent three seasons with him and have seen him get better every season. It remains to be seen whether Love will want out if Rodgers stays, but the scenario in Green Bay is certainly one to monitor.

Aaron Rodgers could soon make a decision about his future

The Packers quarterback has emerged from his darkness retreat and he is expected to make a decision regarding his future pretty soon. Nobody knows what Rodgers will do, but Jeff Darlington has claimed that it is very likely that the veteran quarterback will end play for Green Bay next season.

The New York Jets have significant interest in getting Rodgers, but unless the Packers quarterback approves that trade, he won't be shipped out. The Jets are also in negotiations with former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, and if they cannot acquire Rodgers, they are likely to sign Carr.

The Packers are prepared for any scenario, but they want their quarterback dilemma resolved quickly. They need to rebound from a disappointing season in which they missed the playoffs. The Packers have a big offseason ahead, and they need to make significant moves in order to become a Super Bowl contender once again.
