The franchise has already let go of two head coaches in the past two seasons, and Caserio had his work cut out for him.He did get a good package in return for Deshaun Watson from the Cleveland Browns and that could help the franchise move forward. The Texans do have two early first-round picks for the 2023 NFL Draft, and the franchise needs to make smart decisions to bring some joy back to Houston. The Texans have lost key players like J.J. Watt, Deshaun Watson, DeAndre Hopkins, and Tyrann Mathieu in the past few years. They need to get some young talent on board to have success in the future.Parker McCollum@ParkerMcCollumJames HardenChris PaulGeorge SpringerCarlos CorreaGerit Cole Deshaun WatsonJJ WattDeandre HopkinsAll left the HIt saddens me to think about this2706221James HardenChris PaulGeorge SpringerCarlos CorreaGerit Cole Deshaun WatsonJJ WattDeandre HopkinsAll left the HIt saddens me to think about thisHouston Texans will have the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL DraftC.J. The win for the Texans resulted in them handling the first overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft to the Chicago Bears. The Bears are likely to entertain trade offers for that pick as they are unlikely to draft a quarterback. If the Bears trade their pick for compensation to any other team, it will result in the Texans losing Bryce Young, who is predicted to go first overall.Field Yates@FieldYatesThe Bears now officially own the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Texans also have the rights to the 12th overall pick via the Browns, and Nick Caserio has a huge offseason ahead of him to bring the team back to relevancy.
