Elijah Moore was recently traded to the Cleveland Browns as Deshaun Watson gets another weapon to work with next season. The Browns sent a second-round pick to the Jets and got Moore along with a third-round pick in return.

Moore had demanded a trade last season as he was unhappy with his situation in New York, but the franchise refused his demand. The Jets have already signed Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman this offseason, which ultimately resulted in them parting ways with Moore.

Once the trade was announced, fans on social media were celebrating that Moore finally got his freedom. Here's how social media reacted to the trade:

While the New York Jets edge closer to getting Aaron Rodgers, they have loaded up their offense as well. Although they have now lost Elijah Moore, the addition of Lazard and Hardman will help them a lot next season.

As for the Browns, they've got another great player to help their quarterback Deshaun Watson, and it will allow Amari Cooper to perform better as well.

Things didn't go as planned for Elijah Moore in New York, but he will hope to rediscover himself in Cleveland. He hasn't had the opportunity to play alongside a great quarterback yet, but if Watson can get back to his usual self, the Browns are going to be a lot better next season.

Last season, Moore had 37 catches for 446 yards and scored one touchdown in 16 games. The numbers certainly don't do any justice to the kind of talent Moore possesses, and hopefully, he will be able to achieve his potential with this move.

He is still on a rookie contract, and that will help the franchise in avoiding cap issues as well. The Browns had a disappointing season last year, but are expected to get a lot better come September.

Deshaun Watson didn't play well last season because he was rusty after a long layoff from football. But he is determined to improve and we might see his best soon. The Browns have high expectations for next season, and hopefully, they will live up to them because they have a good team.
