NFL fans clown Patrick Mahomes’ “nightmare” music choices during Super Bowl celebrations

Kansas City Chiefs Victory Parade — Quarterback Patrick Mahomes' music choice during the Kansas City Chiefs celebration has faced scrutiny by fans.

After visiting Disneyland on Monday afternoon with his family, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made a stop at the "The Jimmy Kimmel Show". He said that after the big game on Sunday night, the party continued at the team hotel.

The 27-year-old mentioned that Chainsmokers and DJ Khaled were a part of the entertainment. Then he told Kimmel that those two genres of music were all the team needed to continue with the celebration.

After his appearance on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show," Mahomes' interview went viral on Twitter. However, many were just shocked that Mahomes would be excited about those artists. While they are widely popular, some NFL fans apparently believe that the Chiefs should have had better entertainment.

Some even went as far as to say that listening to that type of music was a 'nightmare'. While choosing music isn't what Patrick Mahomes is so well known for, it will likely be brushed off, but NFL fans definitely like to voice their opinions, regardless of the topic.

Patrick Mahomes handed Lombardi Trophy to fan during Super Bowl parade

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs had a lot of fun during their Super Bowl LVII celebration parade. Between the quarterback chugging beers and tight end Travis Kelce catching bottles of alcohol, there was no shortage of a party.

The Chiefs quarterback got off the double-decker bus as he rode through the parade route in Kansas City. While holding the Lombardi Trophy, he approached fans and handed the trophy to one of them. He then proceeded to walk away from the fan.

The quarterback appeared to walk away from the crowd of fans and back towards the parade route, but it's safe to assume that he or someone else did return to retrieve the Lombardi Trophy from the fan.

This, of course, wouldn't be the first time that the Lombardi Trophy's fate was in question during a Super Bowl parade celebration. In February 2021, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV.

The team celebrated with a boat parade down the Hillsborough River. During the parade, quarterback Tom Brady threw the Lombardi Trophy off of his boat and onto a boat filled with wide receivers and tight ends. Tight end Cameron Brate thankfully caught the Lombardi Trophy before it went for a swim.
