It has been a rough 24 hours for the Arizona Cardinals. After losing quarterback Kyler Murray to a season-ending ACL injury and losing to the New England Patriots, now general manager Steve Keim is taking an indefinite leave from the team due to health reasons.Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Keim is leaving the team indefinitely due to a health-related issue. While many have speculated as to what the issue could be, it is unknown and will likely not be made available to the public.Given it is likely a serious issue, that hasn't stopped NFL fans from taking shots at the franchise over it, with one fan saying that the Cardinals general manager saw Murray go down and decided to leave."My man saw Kyler get hurt and said "I'm finished.""KC Fan 🔳@iamAbsolutelyaV@RapSheet My man saw Kyler get hurt and said "I'm finished"1371@RapSheet My man saw Kyler get hurt and said "I'm finished"Other NFL fans were quick to jump in as well, with many giving their thoughts on why Keim has left indefinitely despite knowing it's health related.rodzilla_4.0@Rodzilla_40@RapSheet Classic move, go out on leave before your employer fires you251@RapSheet Classic move, go out on leave before your employer fires youBrian Y@byysports@RapSheet Hope he’s okay… watching the Cardinals every week has to be bad for his health 301@RapSheet Hope he’s okay… watching the Cardinals every week has to be bad for his health 😭Skol SZN@MVPWigginsSZN@RapSheet He’s pulling the ol’ “resign before they can fire you” move95@RapSheet He’s pulling the ol’ “resign before they can fire you” moveCedric Mussi@CedricDaBoss2@RapSheet I don't believe it's actually health reasons, this is just a nice way of Bidwill firing him, we saw the same thing with Arians in 20191@RapSheet I don't believe it's actually health reasons, this is just a nice way of Bidwill firing him, we saw the same thing with Arians in 2019Aidan@unitedphelp@RapSheet hope he’s okay but also hope he stays as far away from the cardinals as possible1@RapSheet hope he’s okay but also hope he stays as far away from the cardinals as possibleEl Mencho@ElMenchowey@RapSheet Homie trying to play the sick hard to save his job bro just quit3@RapSheet Homie trying to play the sick hard to save his job 😂 bro just quitMyNBADrakeBulldogs@MyNBADrakeBull1@RapSheet Hopefully he is ok . Given the state of their season and the recent Murray injury, the Cardinals can't catch a break in 2022.Cardinals enduring rough 2022 seasonNew England Patriots v Arizona CardinalsHeading into the start of the season, Arizona was one of the teams many had picked to be a playoff team. Last year, Arizona finished second in the NFC West with a 11-6 record behind the 12-5 L.A. Rams. After bowing out in the playoffs, many thought Arizona was thought to go one better in 2022.Now, fast forward through 13 games, Arizona sits at 4-9 and, for all intents and purposes, is out of the playoff picture. The San Francisco 49ers lead the division (9-4) while the Seattle Seahawks (7-6) are ahead of Arizona. Then we add in Kyler Murray's ACL injury and now Keim's health-related issue that has forced him to leave, it goes from bad to worse. Hopefully Arizona can finish off the season in decent form and carry that into the preseason.Because season 2022/23 has been nothing short of a failure from the Arizona team, they haven't gotten any help from the injury gods.
