Travis Kelce is known to be not only one of the NFL's best players but also one of its most popular personalities.
When he is not angering opposing defenses and coaches with big play after big play, he is capturing the attention of Hollywood, whether it be via his relationship with Taylor Swift or his film and TV projects.
And on Thursday, fans got their first glimpse of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's character on the Ryan Murphy-penned FX horror series "Grotesquerie" in the official teaser (1:11 to see the shots).

Hope abounded for Kelce, whose exact role is still unknown, in the comments.
More of it can be seen below.
"Laying the ground work for retirement. Smart play," one remarked.
"May be 1 episode villain," another predicted.
"Gutsy move!" another declared.
"Grotesquerie," which is fronted by Niecy Nash-Betts and Micaela Diamond, premieres on Sept. 25. The official description reads as follows:
“A series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon (Nash-Betts) feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone — or something — is taunting her. At home, Lois grapples with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care, and her own inner demons.
"With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan (Diamond), a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, yet she still believes in its capacity for good. Lois, on the other hand, fears the world is succumbing to evil.
"As Lois and Sister Megan string together clues, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.”
'Grotesquerie' is not Travis Kelce's only upcoming TV venture
As it turns out, "Grotesquerie" will be not the only time Travis Kelce can be seen on TV this year.
"Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?," a spinoff of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th-Grader?" hosted by him, will premiere on Amazon Prime on Oct. 16. Initially, only three episodes will be available, with the remaining 17 arriving individually per week.
Two former NFL players have been confirmed to serve as panelists on the show: journeyman quarterback and "Thursday Night Football" analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.
