Aaron Rodgers is expected to leave the Green Bay Packers next season as the franchise is willing to trade him if the offer on the table is right. Many teams will be interested in acquiring Rodgers, including the New York Jets.

The Jets are unhappy with their quarterbacks and are hunting for a veteran quarterback. The interest in Rodgers is obvious, but they are also interested in two other experienced quarterbacks.

Apart from Rodgers, the Jets are also keeping tabs on both Jimmy Garoppolo, who will be a free agent after this season, and Derek Carr, who is expected to be traded soon.

The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to move on from Carr and could trade their quarterback for a couple of draft picks. He is the type of quarterback that could help multiple teams, and the Jets could be one of them.

Jimmy Garoppolo stepped in to replace an injured Trey Lance for the 49ers but he himself got hurt later. Brock Purdy has taken the NFL by storm and it's unlikely that Garoppolo will stay in San Francisco beyond this season.

The Jets have several young studs on both sides of the ball, and if Zach Wilson had played well this season, New York could have made the playoffs.

With a solid quarterback, the Jets could be a very good team, which is why they will be heavily pursuing one of Carr, Garoppolo, or Rodgers in the upcoming offseason.

The team has left all possibilities open about its potential new quarterback. Rodgers does have the best resume among the available candidates, but both Carr and Garoppolo could be an ideal fit for them as well.

Derek Carr had a passer rating of 86.3 for 3,522 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions in 15 games this season. In his last fully healthy season, Jimmy Garoppolo had a passer rating of 98.7 for 3,810 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 15 games in 2021.

If the Jets want to go all in and cash in on their young roster with a Super Bowl trip, they should go for Aaron Rodgers. However, if they want a bridge quarterback then they should opt for Derek Carr or Jimmy Garoppolo, as they will be easier to get than the Packers QB.
