Nico Collins displayed his superiority on the field last week against the Chicago Bears, and coming off the game, there were no indications of the wide receiver being injured. However, after Wednesday's practice report, many were shocked to find Collins’ name on the injury list.

The Houston Texans have started the season with flying colors, remaining undefeated in their two games. However, Week 3 was supposed to be the easy week for the team, since this will be the first time they’ll be playing at home in the season. However, the injury update from Wednesday has fantasy managers worried.

“Texans WR Nico Collins is listed as a DNP with hip/ankle injuries,” 'SleeperNFL' reported yesterday.

Nico Collins, despite leaving the stadium after beating the Bears in a healthy state, has been reported to have multiple injuries. The 25-year-old WR has stayed tight-lipped over the cause of his injuries.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans and the front office have also not provided any further information. Collins did not show up for practice on Wednesday and was placed on the "Did Not Participate" list.

Will Nico Collins play against the Vikings in Week 3?

Nico Collins has started both games for the Texans this season and has been in sublime form. The wide receiver has registered 14 catches for 252 yards and a touchdown. For the Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, NBC beat reporter Aaron Wilson reported the likelihood of Collins making it to the game.

“Texans wide receiver Collins (hip-foot) is expected to play Sunday against Vikings,” Wilson said on Wednesday.

It has been suggested that Collis suffered light nicks and bruises in the previous week and has been given an extra day of rest. The true extent of the WR’s injury will be revealed on Thursday. If Collins participates even in a limited manner, he will feature in the game on Sunday. Otherwise, Texans fans and fantasy managers will have a lot to be concerned about.

The Houston Texans will welcome the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, with both teams undefeated in the first two weeks of the regular season. However, after Sunday at the U.S. Bank Stadium, one team will have a loss next to its name.
