"Not worth it": Cardinals fans outraged over $40,000 price tag on new luxury ‘Casitas’

Arizona Cardinals fans who are up to a good time have a new option - if they are able to afford it, of course. The team has unveiled their luxury "Casitas", which will have a cost of around $26,655-$40,500 per game and has food and alcohol packages, plus 20 tickets and 10 parking passes.

Having luxury packages is nothing new over NFL games. But the 'Casitas' presented by the Cardinals certainly merits a discussion about whether they're worth the price tag. Based on the offer, spending $40,500 doesn't feel like the most exciting idea.

NFL fans couldn't believe that Arizona was really going for that price tag, criticizing how it looked like they put no effort into the new luxury package.

"It would be cool if you could actually stay there for a night or weekend like an Airbnb", said one fan.

"Watching the game on a TV in a house is GENIUS. Why have I never thought of this?", another said in a ironic manner.

But the overall complaint about the price actually had another (fair) point to it:

"Ain’t nobody in Phoenix paying that to see the Cardinals" was the most common response.

Are the Cardinals going to be contenders in the 2024 season?

Arizona had two first-round picks at the 2024 NFL draft, and they now look to rebound with Marvin Harrison Jr. added to the squad. The schedule for the season is now released, and there's not going to be an easy ride for Kyler Murray's team - the quarterback is fully healthy again.

With the current NFC champions in their division, the NFC West is always going to be a tough task, but Arizona is looking to at least make it a competitive season.

Chances are that the Arizona Cardinals will finish the season with a negative record but with an improvement compared to 2023, which is in line with their roster and their current approach.

There will be massive improvements from last season, but they'll still need a piece or two to compete with the heavyweights. Harrison Jr. will prove himself to be the real deal.
