“You'd like to see a little of that fire from Aaron Rodgers” – O.J. Simpson calls on Packers QB to draw inspiration from Tom Brady’s explosive rant

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers lost a stunner to the New York Jets on Sunday, getting blown out in a game they were heavy favorites for. The loss drops them to 3-3 on the season, which is not an encouraging for the franchise.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also endured a shocking loss Sunday. The quarterback was seen berating his offensive line midway through the game. His attempt to get them all to play better proved futile, as they lost a close one.

Rodgers has called out teammates before, even doing so this year. Former NFL running back O.J. Simpson believes that the Packers star needs to do what Brady did.

Simpson posted a video asking people to move on from Brady's outburst, which has him in a bit of hot water. He tried to make the point that the outburst was fine and might be helpful for other players like Rodgers:

"On Sunday, Tom Brady's going to be the same Tom Brady he has always been. I would like to see, you know, especially now, you'd like to see a little of that fire towards his teammates from Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay right now looks as if that's something that they need."

Most people aren't sure yelling at teammates is the way to go, but Simpson seems convinced that it's fine for quarterbacks to do it.

The loss dropped Green Bay to 3-3 for the year and puts them a surprising two games behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. Their poor start is concerning, especially when the Vikings are doing so well. Tampa Bay is also 3-3, but they're at least still atop the NFC South.

As it stands, the Packers are in serious danger of losing their division title. FiveThirtyEight gives the Vikings a much better chance at winning the division. The Vikings have a 92% chance to make the playoffs and an 83% chance to win the division. Green Bay, on the other hand, is floundering with a 41% chance of making the playoffs and a 14% chance of winning the division.

The Packers are supposed to be one of the NFL's top teams, but they're not playing like it and they're in danger of slipping too far behind to recover.
