Odell Beckham Jr. rubbishes recent reports claiming former Super Bowl-winner is seeking $20 million-a-year

OBJ is yet to find a team to play for in the coming season

The first week of free agency is close to ending and Odell Beckham Jr. still does not have a team. The wide receiver did not play through the 2022 season due to a torn ACL repair made after Super Bowl LVI, in which he suffered the injury.

Based on talent alone, there's no doubt that he's the best wide receiver available in free agency. But questions about the salary he's demanding are at the center of the discussion.

The wide receiver took to Twitter to express his disdain for some of the rumors going around. He effectively made the point that he's not going to take any contract just for the sake of it.

"I'm just so confused where the quote is from me that said I want 20.....all I'm sayin is 4 AINT enough"

Beckham Jr. last played for the Los Angeles Rams and won his first ring with the team with a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. He flirted with many teams about a possible comeback during the 2022 season, but it did not materialize.

Which teams would be a good fit for Odell Beckham Jr.?

While every team would improve with a player of his caliber, some options just make more sense than the others.

The Dallas Cowboys would be the perfect fit, since they have been flirting with Odell Beckham Jr. for a long time. But they were never able to get him.

Jerry Jones is a well-known fan and the Cowboys desperately need a receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb. Not many options will be better than OBJ.

The Los Angeles Chargers will see their receiving options boosted with a receiver to take advantage of inside routes, since this is not the best attribute for Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. They have enough cap space to do it and new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore should exploit these defensive gaps nicely.

Other interesting options include the Minnesota Vikings due to Adam Thielen's recent release, the New England Patriots due to their needs, and the New York Giants because of his past with the team.

Whichever team signs Odell Beckham Jr. knows that they're getting a superstar receiver, even if the price might feel a little high in the beginning. Once he gets on the field, everyone will remember how talented he is.
