Patrick Mahomes may be basking in the glory of winning a Super Bowl, but his brother is fighting to win against allegations of assault that come with witnesses and a video. In the video, the quarterback's brother is seen forcibly kissing a 40-year-old restaurant owner and shoving a waiter multiple times, according to USA Today.

In what appeared to be a response to the situation, mother Randi Mahomes posted on Twitter. In the post, she wrote about betrayal and brought up God. Here's what she tweeted:

"The worst thing about betrayal it never comes from the enemy. Humiliated is an understatement. Giving my all to God"

While it isn't exactly clear what she is referring to, the mention of humiliation, betrayal and someone on "her side" leads most to point at the quarterback's brother. If she is posting this online, one can only wonder what she is saying to Jackson behind closed doors. At the same time, if there have been any family gatherings since the incident, the dinner table conversation would be a sight to behold.

Heading into 2022 after the loss of Tyreek Hill, Mahomes was tasked with coaching up the receiver's replacements. Considering the team won the Super Bowl, many would argue that he did a bang-up job. However, once again, the team is without the No. 1 receiver they entered the previous season with.

JuJu Smith-Schuster has skipped town in favor of the New England Patriots. Many anticipate the NFL Draft to be the source of the team's next big pass catcher. If the team gets a new receiver, it will be the quarterback's opportunity to hone his message even further from the previous year.

Last year was his rookie season as a teacher for the No. 1 receiver in the squad. This year, he'll get a chance to improve on his first efforts. The biggest jump in learning many things comes from the second repetition, so in this small slice of the quarterback's repertoire, he could see a big improvement in this way.

However, one can only wait and see what transpires at the end of April and then over the summer.
