Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes could be forgiven for wanting some time to rest and relax after a long and arduous NFL season. However, after winning his second Super Bowl just weeks ago, the quarterback has chosen a different path.

At this stage of the year, players are on holiday, enjoying time with their families and not worrying about football, but not Mahomes. The two-time NFL MVP is back at work already. In a Twitter post from Arrowhead Live, Mahomes could be seen putting in the work with Bobby Stroupe, a well-known Health, Performance & Player development consultant.

Seeing this, particularly at this time of year, will make Chiefs fans extremely happy. After winning his second Super Bowl, the quarterback could easily have taken a few weeks off to refresh his mind and body and then attack the offseason.

Instead, it seems like there are no rest days for the quarterback. If he wants to be the best (some argue he is already), then he has to put the work in. Going by Stoupe's post, that is exactly what the quarterback is doing.

When former NFL quarterback Tom Brady was asked which Super Bowl win was his favorite, he replied, "The next one". It appears that Mahomes has a similar thought.

Not happy with "just" two (some players don't even make it to the Super Bowl, let alone win it), the Chiefs star clearly wants more.

After Tyreek Hill was sent to the Miami Dolphins in the offseason, many thought the Chiefs' offense would struggle. Well, they didn't and they ended up being champions.

While the roster will go through various changes over the next few months, the one constant is the quarterback. If this year's shown us anything, it's that Mahomes will be at the top of his game for the foreseeable future and that is scary.

What is even scarier is that he has only been in the league for six years and has plenty of time to add to his already impressive list of accolades. He clearly covets winning another Super Bowl and the work to get back to the NFL's penultimate game is already underway.
