At age 39, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the second-oldest quarterback in the NFL behind Tom Brady.

The two quarterbacks would usually be getting ready for the divisional round of the playoffs right now, but both are home, beginning their off-seasons and pondering their future decisions.

Rodgers has hinted at retirement multiple times but still says he has a lot left in the tank.

The 39-year-old spoke about his capability to play on the Pat McAfee Show earlier this week and said that he could still win MVP's but didn't mention winning championships.

Here's what Aaron Rodgers said:

"Do I Still think I can play? Of course. Can I play at a high level? The highest - I think I can win MVP again... in the right situation."

Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski was asked by TV sports personality Kay Adams about the comments Rodgers made on UpandAdamsShow.

Gronkowski said:

"I'm totally fine with everything he said except for one major part and that's the MVP. It's just I think I can win again another Super Bowl, that would have been fine, like bro, why are you thinking MVP like don't you want Super Bowls? Super Bowls I think are five times greater than an MVP award.
"Like, we all know that you won the MVP a few times now but like everyone would know how many more Super Bowls you've won than MVP's. So, that's why I'm a little confused about that, you know, quote he just had, I mean, it should be Super Bowls. You can never be thinking the MVP when Super Bowls are twice as better."

Aaron Rodgers only has one Super Bowl victory to four MVP awards

A player's legacy can be defined in multiple ways, with the two most prestigious awards being Super Bowl championships and MVP awards.

Aaron Rodgers has accomplished both, with four MVP's and one Super Bowl victory. He won his lone Super Bowl in 2010, but has won league MVP in 2011, 2014, 2020, and 2021.

While he will certainly enter Canton one day as a Hall-of-Famer, it seems like Aaron Rodgers is more focused on individual accomplishments rather than team accomplishments this late into his career.

When you think about the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, one typically thinks about their Super Bowl victories like Gronkowksi said. Either way, Rodgers is one of the greatest and most accomplished quarterbacks and players of all-time.
