The NFL star came through with a heartfelt post on Instagram, stunning fans with raw emotion. Judging by Wilson's post, Ciara's 36th birthday was an important event for the family.

The highlight, however, was Wilson's heartfelt caption.

"God blessed the world on this day with you. I love you so much. You inspire the world! Every morning your mission is to make the world a better place and you have a perfect score."
"How you love as the love of my life. You are the most amazing wife, mother to our three babies, one of the best iconic entertainers in the world, and brilliant business woman."

He thanked Ciara for loving and encouraging him, wishing her a very happy birthday. Ciara, of course, was quick to thank her husband. She replied under the post, penning an equally emotional reply.

Russell Wilson and Ciara are settling down in Denver

In a recent interview, the singer spoke about moving to Denver and settling in. While it was not an easy change, they both seem to love their new city. Ciara referred to Denver as 'amazing', which was inclusive of all the amazing fans and food.

However, Broncos fans might have some issues with Wilson's time in Denver. Despite a blockbuster trade, the team is struggling. Denver are currently 2-5, and will not make the playoffs unless they can drastically improve their performances.

Wilson has scored five TDs against three interceptions during six starts, struggling to work with head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Denver will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this weekend. This is a must-win game for both sides, as they both sit at 2-5. The prevailing theory is that whoever loses will miss the playoffs this season, as 2-6 is just too steep a hill to climb.

We will see if Russell Wilson can turn it around on Sunday.
