On June 7, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that Aaron Rodgers had arrived at the Pittsburgh Steelers' training facility to sign a one-year contract worth $13.65 million, $10 million of which is fully guaranteed. Does Aaron Rodgers make the Pittsburgh Steelers a playoff team?

Rodgers is arguably the best quarterback the Steelers franchise has had since the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger. Although he is no longer in the prime of his career, Rodgers still had 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns last year in a disappointing season for the New York Jets.

The Steelers have the eighth-best odds (+145) in the AFC to make the playoffs, according to Bet365. Only the Buffalo Bills, the Baltimore Ravens, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Houston Texans, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Denver Broncos hold better odds than the Steelers.
