NFL fans were unhappy with the league's decision to fine multiple players following the action in Week 2. Insider Tom Pelissero shared the news of all the fines that were issued on Saturday, which included high-profile names like Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase and New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr. These decisions didn't sit well with plenty of fans, who called out the league on X, formerly known as Twitter, even saying it's become "soft.""soft a** league," one fan wrote."League loves stealing the players money," another fan said."soft refs," another fan wrote.Others criticized the seemingly different criteria to fine celebrations and players who actually punched others during games."So he gets fined 14k for a celebration, which doesn't cause any potential injury....which is literally thousands more than other players who were 'physical with someone' in their penalties? And the they fine another guy over 30k dollars for yelling at a ref??? Wtf?" one fan referencing Drake London's fine. The NFL has had a couple of busy weeks when it comes to fines. It's only Week 3 and they have already punished plenty of players, regardless of their level of talent.Full list of NFL fines after Week 2Ja'Marr Chase was fined $31,599 for unsportsmanlike conduct when he screamed at referee Alex Kemp.
