Aaron Rodgers ended months of speculation about his future on Thursday when he agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The veteran quarterback is expected to lead the Steelers' offense for the 2025 season. Since Pittsburgh has been able to land the four-time MVP, the team is reportedly planning to sign another free agent to support Rodgers.
According to reports, the Steelers are now linked with signing veteran wideout Keenan Allen, who signed a four-year, $80 million extension with the LA Chargers in 2020. Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2024 season, where he earned $18.1 million in base salary, according to Spotrac.
The Chargers took Allen with the No. 76 pick in the 2013 NFL draft. He played 11 seasons with them and earned six Pro Bowl honors along the way.

In the 2024 season with the Bears, Allen linked up well with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The WR posted 744 yards and six touchdowns on 70 receptions, as Chicago finished with a 5-12 record.
