Tom Brady is easily the greatest quarterback in NFL history, but the signal-caller was called out ahead of the Patriots' Super Bowl LIII game. Actor Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame called out Brady in an interview with Variety magazine in January 2019.

Radcliffe specifically called out the quarterback for his support of then-President Donald Trump and chose the Rams to win that year's Super Bowl. The actor told Brady:

"Take that MAGA hat out of your locker! I feel like that was the moment when as a country we were all like, 'Come on, dude! You're awesome. ... Don't put that in here. So (I'm rooting for the) Rams. I don't know if they're going to win, but I want them to.

Radcliffe's response came after a 'Make America Great Again' hat was spotted in Tom Brady's locker during a televised interview in 2015. Brady and Trump are friends and have been rumored to have golfed together in the past.

However, the then New England Patriots star didn't agree with Trump when it came to kneeling during the national anthem. Trump once called the quiet protests against police brutality versus people of color 'unpatriotic'. In an interview, Brady said that he disagreed with the President, backing his teammates. The NFL legend said:

"I certainly disagree with what he said. I thought it was just divisive. Like I said, I just want to support my teammates."

Tom Brady was preparing to play in his ninth Super Bowl when Radcliffe made his comments regarding his relationship with Trump.

How did Tom Brady fare in Super Bowl LIII?

The quarterback played well against the Los Angeles Rams at the Mercedes-Benz Dome in the Super Bowl. He threw for 262 yards and an interception as the Patriots won 13-3.

Brady didn't throw a touchdown in a Super Bowl for the first time in his career. It marked the former Michigan Wolverines star's sixth Super Bowl ring, much to the dismay of Radcliffe.
