At this point, Taylor Swift is now a constant presence around the Kansas City Chiefs - and this is not merely limited to her attendance at their games. Her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce and friendship with quarterback Patrick Mahomes are the stuff that the media will report constantly, but there is another friendship that has usually gone unnoticed.
It is the one with wide receiver/returner Mecole Hardman and his fiancee Chariah Gordon. The latter has been open about it on her Instagram Stories, and she expanded her horizons in the latest one, which depicts the multi-platinum pop superstar holding their daughter Ci after a 16-14 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Chariah also captioned the post:
"Auntie Tay and Baby Ci"
This was the first time Ci got to watch a Chiefs game. Both she and her elder brother Mecole III, wore tees with their father's No. 17 on the left breast. Below is Mecole III's:
Hardman caught just a single three-yard pass in the game; he also returned three punts for 28 yards.
Taylor Swift watches as Travis Kelce makes Chiefs history vs. Broncos
To say Sunday could have not gone any more perfectly for Taylor Swift would be a slight understatement.
Travis Kelce caught the afternoon’s only touchdown, and the Chiefs won to remain undefeated. But there was also much significance behind his score - it tied him with Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdowns in the history of the franchise with 76.
And CBS’s cameras were able to catch a glimpse of her celebrating history:
Today marks the last game with Swift in attendance for this month. Her Eras Tour begins its final leg with six shows at Toronto’s Rogers Center, the home field of MLB’s Blue Jays, between November 14 and 23. There is a lull after that, but after that, she will be busy with a triple-header at Vancouver’s BC Place to conclude the tour.
The earliest she can return to the stands is on December 15, when the Chiefs visit the floundering Cleveland Browns.
