Pickett was part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning team last season, mainly serving as a backup to Jalen Hurts.

This offseason, the Browns acquired Pickett from Philadelphia. He will have to outperform Joe Flacco, as well as rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, to land the QB1 role in Cleveland.

Meanwhile, Rodgers is set to be the Steelers’ starting quarterback in the 2025 season.

Rodgers was released by the New York Jets in March. However, the Steelers offered him a contract just one day after he became a free agent.

Although Rodgers kept the Steelers waiting for nearly three months, he eventually put pen to paper on his deal before mandatory minicamp.

If Rodgers wins the starting QB role in Pittsburgh, he will face his former team, the Jets, in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season.
