Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos suffered a gruesome 14-51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. After already being eliminated from playoff contention, the Broncos gave up 51 points to an injury-ridden Rams team.

Wilson, who has played poorly the entire season, produced his worst performance of the season in the game. He threw three interceptions against the Rams, and there was no way back for the Broncos.

Watching Nickelodeon's broadcast somehow made the debacle even worse for the Broncos.

Wilson was visibly very upset after the loss to the Los Angeles Rams, and here's what he said in the post-game press conference:

"The bottom line is that I looked down, and it can't happen. And it's been disappointing. You know, we've had some really good moments this year, we've had some really bad moments..."

He added:

"I think we're all frustrated, because we feel like we can be better we feel like we're more capable of being better. We feel like we've had, you know, some, some, some good moments and all that."

Wilson continued:

"But, you know, nobody wants to put out what we put out today. That was terrible. You know, and, and I was that was not us. That was not very good."

The Denver Broncos have one of the best defenses in the league and it was very surprising to see them giving up 51 points in Week 16. The Rams were playing with Baker Mayfield as Matthew Stafford was still out, and even without Cooper Kupp, the Rams annihilated the Broncos.

While Russell Wilson had a terrible game, Baker Mayfield continued to impress everyone. He has certainly raised his market value for the upcoming free agency with his performances for the reigning Super-Bowl champions.

Russell Wilson will be under a lot of pressure next season

It is uncertain whether or not the Denver Broncos will part ways with head coach Nathaniel Hackett after this season. Regardless, there will be great pressure on Wilson to establish his value next season.

The Broncos were deemed Super Bowl contenders after Wilson was traded from Seattle to Denver, but they have failed miserably this season. The Broncos gave up a lot to acquire Russell Wilson and if he doesn't improve next season, this franchise could be in a whole lot of trouble.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold in Denver once the season is over, as many changes are expected.
