Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase had an unexpected incident ahead of his minicamp with the team. The American NFL star shared his disappointment on Monday after someone stole the hood ornament off his Mercedes-Maybach car.
Chase posted a picture of the car with the missing hood ornament on Instagram.
"Lol dam this what we on Cincy?" he captioned the picture.

In March 2025, Ja’Marr Chase signed a whopping $161 million contract with the Bengals. He is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in the history of the NFL.
Last season, the Bengals were close to qualifying for the playoffs. Although they started the season losing the first three games back-to-back, they improved as the season progressed and had five back-to-back wins towards the conclusion of the regular season.
Nonetheless, despite the good performances towards the end of the season, the Bengals finished with an overall 9-8 record in the AFC North and missed the playoffs. The Bengals will start the new season on September 7 against Cleveland.

Eagles WR Terrace Marshall Jr. (TMJ) celebrated his 25th birthday on June 9. Ja’Marr Chase shared a picture of the fellow NFL star on Instagram to wish him a happy birthday.
"Happy b day broski" Chase wrote.

Marshall Jr. played last season for the Raiders and signed a one-year deal with the Eagles in 2025.
TMJ and Ja’Marr Chase have been friends since their time together studying at LSU. They were in college from 2018 to 2022 and were both selected in the NFL Draft in 2021.
Chase was a first-round, fifth overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the draft, while TMJ was picked by the Carolina Panthers in the second round.
