"This is all on him" - NFL fans blast Tua Tagovailoa for throwing 'hospital ball' to Grant DuBose after Dolphins WR's injury

Tua Tagovailoa found himself under fire after one of his throws put a receiver in the middle of two opponents and made him take a scary hit. Grant DuBose ran to get a pass from Tua, but the placement wasn't ideal, forcing the receiver to clash with his defender and stay on the ground right after.

It goes without saying that several fans were worried about the player and took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their opinion on this sequence. Some were unhappy with how things unfolded and even blamed Tua Tagovailoa for putting a teammate in a dangerous position.

"This is all on Tua. Hate to see a packers legend down like this," one fan wrote.

"Absolutely textbook Tua hospital ball lollipop over the middle. We all like the guy but he just doesn’t have the arm strength to ever be really good in the league," another fan said.

"It’s not enough for Tua to get sent to the hospital, he wants to take his receivers there with him. Absolute terrible throw," another fan said.

Others put the blame on the Texans' defense, labeling it as "dirty" after two weeks of starring in similar situations.

"Entire Texans defense is dirty man," one fan wrote.

"Of course it’s the Texans who send another man to the hospital," another fan said.

This hit made the rounds around the league, as even former quarterback Robert Griffin III chimed in.

"Please don’t share the video of Miami Dolphins WR Grant Dubose getting injured. Share this because we are all Praying for him and his family," the former player tweeted.

Besides the bad throw and the negative comments he got from it, Tua Tagovailoa also left NRG Stadium with a loss against the Houston Texans. The trend of struggling against competitive teams while dominating weaker opponents continued in Week 15.

Tua threw 40 passes and completed 29 for 196 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

This season hasn't been easy for Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins. Tagovailoa's injuries hurt the team's chances to compete and now that he's back, the job looks way harder to complete.
