Tom Brady has opened up on the Las Vegas Raiders' 2-7 start to the season. Brady became a minority owner in the Raiders this year.

With Brady now being invested in Las Vegas, the future Hall of Fame quarterback said it was disappointing to see the Raiders struggle.

“I have no comment on that right now. It’s pretty rough," Brady said at Fotune Global Forum at 27:40. "Naturally, there’s a lot of pretty shitty football right now in my opinion. There’s a lot of reasons why and there’s a lot of guys that are gone.
"There’s a lot of developmental issues based on what’s going on in college football. I hate the fact that you can go to the easy place and try to succeed at the easy place. In some ways, the amount of money that’s being made in sports and football, they’re not even accountable to winning anymore.”

A key reason why Las Vegas is struggling is due to the quarterback's play. Gardner Minshew is the team's starter who has struggled this season as he's gone 148-for-221 for 1,501 yards, six touchdowns and eight interceptions.

It is no doubt frustrating for Brady and Raiders fans. The team had hopes of competing for a playoff spot but that won't be the case, as instead, Las Vegas is tied for the third-worst record in the NFL.

Tom Brady was eager to become a minority owner of the Raiders

Tom Brady was thrilled to be the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brady had been trying to become a minority owner but didn't get approved until October.

"I'm incredibly humbled and excited to have been unanimously approved as an owner of the Las Vegas Raiders," Brady said in a statement, via The Sun.
"I'm eager to contribute to the organization in any way I can, honoring the Raiders' rich tradition while finding every possible opportunity to improve our offering to fans. And most importantly, WIN football games."

The former quarterback and his partner hold a 10% stake in the Raiders, with Tom Brady personally holding a 5% stake.

The Raiders will return to the field on the road on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins after a bye week.
