A tough season for Tom Brady got even tougher after the devastating loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. The Brady-led Buccaneers offense was able to score just three points against a tanking Panthers team. This was arguably the worst loss for Brady since his arrival in Tampa Bay.

This season has been challenging for Tom Brady both on and off the field. Injuries have hindered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on both sides of the ball. Furthermore, Brady's personal life may have been impacted heavily due to a reported rift with his wife Gisele Bundchen.

Following the loss to the Panthers, the Buccaneers are now 3-4 to start the season. Brady was left visibly frustrated in the press conference after the game. Here's what he said:

"We're trying to win every game. So anytime you lose one game, it's no fun, you lose two, it's worse. So we just got to figure it out, we got to dig deep, you know, and try to do things a lot better."

He continued:

"I got to take a look. It's it's, you know, you come off the field. And I'm sure there was a lot of things we didn't do, right. So no one feels good about where we're at. No one feels good about how we played or what we're doing. So we all got up, we're on it together, man, we got to go pull ourselves out of it."

The Buccaneers haven't looked the same since letting go of former head coach Bruce Arians and the pressure might be getting to Todd Bowles. Although Brady was content with the transition of Bowles from the defensive coordinator position to the head coach position, so far, the move hasn't worked out well.

With Brady admitting morale is an issue in Tampa Bay, they will have to do something to end this crisis of confidence.

The Buccaneers will face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football this week, and this won't be an easy fixture. However, Tom Brady is still hopeful his team can turn things around. Speaking about moving forward, Brady said:

"You know, you have to play as a team. Take accountability, you have to work hard at that discipline, commitment, mental and physical toughness, zero character traits. And we have a lot of great guys in the locker room. So we're gonna go in tomorrow morning, we got a short week, we got to work hard to try to fix it."

Whether or not the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense shows up against the Ravens in primetime remains to be seen. However, the current situation isn't helping Tom Brady's case to continue playing football at the reported expense of his marriage.
