Tyreek Hill issues stern warning to Jalen Ramsey following Dolphins trade

Hill has issued a light-hearted warning to Jalen Ramsey following his move to Miami.
Hill has issued a light-hearted warning to Jalen Ramsey following his move to Miami.

Jalen Ramsey is the newest member of the Miami Dolphins. After being traded to the AFC team from the Los Angeles Rams for a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long, Ramsey is now off the market.

However, his new teammate in Tyreek Hill has taken to social media to respond to Ramsey's move after the corner posted on his Twitter account.

Ramsey seemed hyped for the move to Miami to link up with the Dolphins, but Hill gently reminded him that the same things that happened during the Pro Bowl flag football game won't be tolerated at practice.

"If you hit me like you did in that flag game we fighting 😊."

What hit is Hill talking about? During the flag football portion of the Pro Bowl game, the receiver was closing in on scoring a touchdown.

The Pro Bowl is notorious for its "non-contact" game that is played between the AFC and the NFC, but it appears that Jalen Ramsey didn't get the memo. As Hill was running towards scoring, Ramsey dropped the shoulder and knocked Hill out of bounds.

Watch below.

We can't imagine that Hill will take it too lightly if this is to happen at Dolphins practice, even if it is a little tongue-in-cheek from the receiver right now.

The Dolphins loaded up last offseason with the acquisition of Hill, and now Miami has another star in Jalen Ramsey.

With the defense ranked 24rd in the NFL last season for points allowed per game (23.5), it is hoped that Ramsey will help bring that number down. Now, it is worth remembering that Miami was in the box seat for the division at one stage last year until Tua Tagovailoa's concussion issues surfaced.

Just how healthy the quarterback will be remains to be seen. However, Miami has moved to stiffen its defense in the hopes of not needing Tua to score 25+ points every week to win football games.

It was a good piece of business for Miami. They didn't have to give up a lot either. In the process, they signed a superstar cornerback as they look to make a deep playoff run.
