Aaron Rodgers is back from Egypt to practice. The Jets have started their training camp, and A-Rod will be the center of attention. However, fans had mixed reactions upon his arrival.
The New York Jets, in a blockbuster move, brought Rodgers to New Jersey. However, he couldn’t even participate in one full game, as he tore his Achilles in the season opener. As a result, A-Rod sat out the entire season as the Jets went 7-10.
After regaining fitness, Rodgers attended OTAs but missed the mandatory minicamp. Now he is back and ready to start training with the entire roster. On Wednesday, the Jets announced Rodgers’ arrival on X (previously Twitter):

“Ladies & gentlemen… Aaron Rodgers 12.”

Fans continued to pile on Rodgers’ absence from the minicamp earlier and regarding his status concerning his age.
“Hey looks like he found the place”, a fan tweeted..
“Washed,” another fan tweeted.
But other Jets fans have pinned their hopes on the four-time NFL MVP.
“He will lead us to the promised land,” a fan optimistically tweeted.
“Aaron Rodger's MVP race starts now!” Another fan tweeted.
Aaron Rodgers faces the consequences of missing minicamp
Speaking to the media at the training camp, Aaron Rodgers revealed that he had been fined “a little more” than $50,000 for his unexcused trip to Egypt. However, Rodgers clarified he knew the consequences even after talking with coach Robert Saleh about it.
“I had a great talk with Robert. Obviously he wanted me to be there”, said Rodgers. “I knew the consequences if I wasn't going to be there. Had talks with all my teammates about it. I think they all understood it was more of an issue outside the building than it was inside the building”
Despite the negativity, A-Rod claimed that his target is to win the Super Bowl this year. If he does that, it will be the second Super Bowl for him and the Jets franchise.
