An injury update on A.J. Brown has Philadelphia Eagles fans in a bit of a panic. The franchise officially ruled Brown out for the Monday Night Football showdown against the Atlanta Falcons.
Brown is nursing a hamstring injury and felt a little tightness over the week. He was listed as questionable but was officially ruled out on Sunday.

How the Eagles could cope with A.J. Brown's injury
The 1-0 Eagles had nine days of rest after beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFL's first game in Brazil. Those nine days clearly weren't enough for A.J. Brown to recover from injury which means the Eagles will now have to turn to DeVonta Smith primarily when they go up against the Falcons.
Jahan Dotson, who arrived via a trade from the Washington Commanders, will likely be called into action to fill the A.J. Brown-shaped hole in the receiving corps for Week 2. Rookie Johnny Wilson is also dealing with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable for the game. However, the Eagles have the option of calling up veteran wideout Parris Campbell from the practice squad.
"We traded for him and feel really good about him. He's a smooth route runner," Sirianni said of Dotson this week.
From a fantasy football point of view, Smith will be the biggest beneficiary of Brown being ruled out. Smith had a marginally more impressive outing against the Packers, catching seven of his eight targets for 84 yards. All in all, DeVonta Smith may be the best WR2 in the league.
Considering the Eagles face the Falcons, who didn't exactly impress against the Russell Wilson-less Steelers, Smith could be in for a big night on Monday. Expect Kellen Moore to work his magic against Atlanta.
Falcons vs Eagles injury report
On the Falcons' side of things, linebacker Nate Landman has been ruled out for Monday Night Football. Cornerback Antonio Hamilton has also been ruled out with a groin injury but apart from those two, the Falcons are relatively healthy entering Week 2.
For the Eagles, linebacker Devin White was a concern with an ankle injury but he's expected to be available for the game.
