A few years ago, Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn were amongst the NFL's most popular pairs. However, along with Rodgers' love life, the world was also invested in his familial ties. Rodgers and his family have been involved in a few controversies, raising questions about their personal life and bond. Some of it involved Rodgers' brother Jordan, who appeared on The Bachelorette.

During an old interview (with Andy Cohen Live), Munn opened up about the Rodgers family drama and people blaming her for their differences. She said that Rodgers hadn't seen his parents for months when they met.

Furthermore, it was the actress who urged Rodgers to sort things out with his parents and try to have an honest conversation with them.

Munn said:

"He hadn't spoken to the parents and one brother for like eight months before we started dating. They had a nice conversation and then they started coming out my first year when I was in Green Bay in 2014".

However, Munn recalled that things went south shortly afterward:

"I just think it's really important to try to mend things in a family and I encouraged that. But at the end of the day, I mean, um."

Cohen chimed in, adding that it was 'out of' Munn's control. Ultimately, it seemed as if Munn was defending Rodgers against his family.

"I do believe that family and fame and success can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success."

Did Olvia Munn blame Aaron Rodgers' family for the falling out?

While Munn did not reveal any details about the problems between Rodgers and her, she did hint at the quarterback being wronged by his family.

"At the end of the day, there's a lot of complications," Munn said. "I don't think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it's not OK when you try to stand on someone's shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what they did for him."

She even highlighted his position as a quarterback and how it was the 'hardest position in any sport.' Rodgers had been putting himself on the field for years, which made it dangerous.

At the end of the day, "any kind of distraction is unacceptable," Munn concluded.

Munn and Aaron Rodgers separated in 2017. Rodgers went on to date actress Shailene Woodley in 2020, but the two split in 2022. Currently, the Green Bay quarterback is reportedly dating Milwaukee Bucks heiress Mallory Edens.
