Melissa Whitworth's education, career, and personal life

Melissa was born on April 29, 1980, in Ruston, Louisiana. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2003 before obtaining a Masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Louisiana Tech.

Along with juggling her education, Melissa also took part in several beauty pageants. She received the Miss Louisiana title in 2003.

Not only does Melissa grab headlines for her good looks, but she also knows how to shake a leg. Melissa won the mirrorball trophy in Cincinnati's version of Dancing With the Stars in 2016.

After majoring in psychology, Melissa worked as a journalist. She has held roles as a reporter on NBC10 and Fox14 News.

Melissa and Andrew married in January 2006. The couple have four children together: twins Sarah and Drew, Michael, and Katherine.

Together, Andrew and Melissa established the Big Whit 77 Foundation in 2008. This non-profit organization helps in creating a positive impact on the lives of youth and families in local communities.

Andrew Whitworth's NFL career and honors

Andrew Whitworth drew curtains on a long and illustrious NFL career after winning the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams last season. The four-time Pro Bowler was a defensive end during his playing days.

Since Whitworth retired from the NFL, he has been able to spend more time with his family. However, the 40-year-old remains close to the league. Following his retirement, Whitworth joined Amazon's Thursday Night Football crew.

Whitworth holds the honors of being the oldest offensive linebacker to play in and win a Super Bowl. He now uses his years of experience in the NFL to good use while working as an analyst.
