Ethan Pocic was born on August 5, 1995, in Lemont, Illinois. He is currently an offensive lineman (center) for the Cleveland Browns.

Pocic played college football with the LSU Tigers in 2015 and 2016. As a junior, he was named to the second-team All-Southeastern Conference by SEC coaches. Pocic was a Rimington Trophy finalist as a senior in 2016. He was also a first-team All-SEC and first-team All-American selection.

Pocic was invited to the Senior Bowl that year, where met with the San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens. He also attended the NFL combine and finished all of the positional drills. The Seattle Seahawks selected him 58th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Ethan Pocic is married to Heather Duke. The two tied the knot in 2019 during a ceremony in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The couple has two children together, a son named Duke and a daughter named Ellie.

From 2015 to 2017, she studied medicine at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and nursing at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. The couple's youngest child, Duke, was born in June 2021. They will be celebrating his second birthday this summer.

Heather and Ethan have been dating since September 2014. She began posting pictures of him on her social media accounts that year.

Heather shared a photo of her engagement ring in November 2018, saying the jeweler did "an AMAZING job designing it." It has "high-quality diamonds," she said. Heather was among those who congratulated Ethan Pocic on being named LSU Football's player of the week in September 2015.

Heather and Ethan got married at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center on July 13, 2019. The ceremony took place on the top floor of the Hilton hotel, followed by a reception in the first-floor ballroom.

Heather's brother Hunter described the wedding as "one for the record books," and shared a photo reel on Instagram. Hunter recently got married to his wife Jana.

Ethan Pocic’s NFL career

Pocic was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He made his first career NFL start against the New York Giants on October 22, 2017.

In his rookie season, Pocic replaced Luke Joeckel at left guard for five games and Oday Aboushi at right guard for the final six games. He recorded two sacks that season.

After five seasons with the Seahawks, Pocic signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns on April 6, 2022.

Pocic was named the Browns' starting center to begin the 2022 season. He started the first ten games before going down with a knee injury in Week 11. On November 22, he was placed on injured reserve. After being sidelined for over a month, he returned to action on December 23.

The 27-year-old will be a free agent again this offseason.
