Who is Mike McDaniel's wife, Katie Hemstalk?

Since their marriage in 2014, Katie Hemstalk and pro football manager Mike McDaniel have had one child, a daughter. In February 2022, McDaniel was appointed the Miami Dolphins' new head coach. He had been an assistant for various NFL clubs since 2005, including Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers.

The love of his life, Katie Hemstalk, encourages him with all his choices. Katie was born in Oroville, California in 1983. Winston and Kristy Hemstalk, Katie's parents, have been together for more than 40 years.

Hemstalk works in the cosmetics industry. She is a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist, per public data on the California Department of Consumer Affairs webpage. Hemstalk and McDaniel don't seem to be invested in social media, and they've mostly kept the intricacies of their romance off the internet.

The coach's wife is a big stakeholder in the cosmetics market even though she keeps a low profile. In May 2011, she received her medical license from Oroville, California.

Her mother is a Senior Financial Grants Expert at the Butte County Office of Education. Her father, Winston Kirk Hemstalk, is employed by Caltrans in the managerial staff division. It appears that Katie only has one sibling, Aaron Hemstalk.

She earned a bachelor's degree from one of California's colleges after finishing high school at one of the state's high schools.

In June 2014, Katie and Mike McDaniel exchanged vows in Ashburn, Virginia. Expectedly, only immediate relatives and close friends attended the wedding. Katie's mom shared a cute photo from their marriage ceremony on Facebook.

Their daughter, born in 2020, was given the name Alya June.

Mike McDaniel's life before the NFL

Mike McDaniel's playing days came to an end at Yale, but it was his early experiences that gave him access to the coaching profession. When he was younger, McDaniel used to cycle to the Denver Broncos' off-season workouts.

There, he met video staff member Gary McCune, who eventually connected him with Mike Shanahan, who in 2005 recruited McDaniel as a coaching intern.

In his 15-year NFL coaching career, McDaniel has worked with seven franchises, two divisions, and 118 other coaches. These include DeMeco Ryans, the Shanahans, Robert Saleh, Dan Quinn, Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, Mike Pettine, Wes Welker, and Raheem Morris.

He has also been involved with teams that have participated in two Super Bowls and four conference title games.
