When it came to the San Francisco drive, they fumbled the ball on third and one. Atlanta recovered it and returned it for a touchdown to go 14-0 up.

# 2nd Quarter

The second quarter saw the San Francisco 49ers come roaring back. The combination both times was the same: Jimmy Garoppolo to Brandon Aiyuk. The first came out of a methodical drive downfield.

The second touchdown saw a great punt return by Ray-Ray McCloud, which gave the 49ers great field position. Brandon Aiyuk scored again from a second-and-nine situation.

The half was not over as the Falcons hit back with a touchdown of their own. On a third-and-thirteen, Marcus Mariota kept the drive going with a dash. On first-and-goal, a play action call saw him score a rushing touchdown. The half finished 21-14 to Atlanta.

# 3rd Quarter

The third quarter saw Atlanta get back on the board with a score. Kyle Pitts caught his first touchdown pass of the season to give them a 28-14 lead.

# 4th Quarter

The fourth quarter saw San Francisco trying to level the score, but a slight overthrow by Jimmy Garoppolo was intercepted by Jaylinn Hawkins. On their next drive, they rescued a couple of long plays, but stumbled on a fourth-and-one and turned the ball over on downs. The match ended 28-14 to the Falcons. It was a disappointing performance from San Francisco, but also a strong showing from a much underrated Atlanta side.
