Lamar Jackson has caused a stir among the Ravens faithful after missing practice on Monday. Despite losing against the defending champions last weekend, Jackson showed his dual-threat abilities on the field. The Ravens have to face off against another AFC West team in their Week 2 fixture.
After missing the practice session on Monday, the rumor mill started churning regarding the injury status of the Baltimore Ravens shot caller. However, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo appeared on the "Good Morning Football" show and tried to douse the fires.
“Expect Lamar Jackson to be out there," Garafolo said. “He did not practice on Monday. It was kind of a bonus practice because they have the long week, it’s part of their preparation. From what I understand, he’s a little bit sore.”
“But the expectation is he will be back out there when they practice in preparation for the Raiders later this week.”

Jackson is predicted to be present for the Ravens’ home opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, it would be interesting to see if the QB can build on his performance and lead his side to victory.
What happened to Lamar Jackson?
As Garafolo pointed out on "Good Morning Football," Jackson missed the practice session because he was feeling sore. He also said that this soreness could have been brought on by his rushing for 122 yards in the last game against the Chiefs — "most rushes he's had in a game in a couple of years," Garafolo said.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh talked to the press regarding Jackson and others missing the practice session.
“We had a number of guys that weren't out there. Some personal, some physical,” Harbaugh said to the reporters. “Injury report comes out on Wednesday afternoon, so you'll be better advised on that day regarding all those guys.”
The fans would be worried about Jackson’s illness streak, which kept him away from several training sessions in the offseason. The Ravens will face off against the Raiders on Sept. 15 at the M&T Bank Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 pm EDT.
