Aaron Rodgers - who took part in practice for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the first time at the mandatory minicamp on Tuesday - was greeted with an emotional message from a Steelers fan when he got out of his Range Rover.

ESPN's Steelers reporter - Brooke Pryor - spilled the beans on how Rodgers was welcomed at the training facility by a Pittsburgh fan, who forgave the QB for a game over 14 years ago.

"Aaron Rodgers got here at 7:19 a.m.," Pryor said on 'NFL on ESPN' (0:40). "He pulled in the gates just behind me in a Range Rover. He got out and was wearing a turquoise hoodie, a trucker hat. And would you believe it, there was a fan out here with a megaphone who was greeting all of the players when they came in.

"But he had a special message for Rodgers. He shouted at him, said, 'hey man, you broke my heart in the Super Bowl, but I forgive you.' Pretty good start to the Rodgers tenure here in Pittsburgh."

Rodgers was part of the Green Bay Packers team that beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl in February 2011 and it remains his only Super Bowl win.

The four-time NFL MVP spent 18 seasons with the Packers before being traded to the New York Jets in 2023. After a two-year stint in New York, the QB was released this offseason.

Although Rodgers took his time in committing to the Steelers, he is poised to lead the team's offense for the 2025 season.

Per reports, Rodgers can earn up to $19.5 million with incentives from his deal with the Steelers. However, the QB has reiterated that money doesn't matter too much to him as he plans to build on his legacy.

The Pittsburgh Steelers waited nearly three months for the veteran quarterback to sign his contract. They will hope that he can work some of his magic to help the team make a push for the Super Bowl next season.

It will be interesting to see how Rodgers fares in his 21st year in the NFL next season.
