Cam Heyward was disappointed with the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base after Pittsburgh finalized a deal with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, having spent weeks for a response after making an offer.
However, not everyone was happy with the Steelers signing a 41-year-old Rodgers following his underwhelming two-season stint with the Jets. After Aaron Rodgers' signing, Steelers fans shared clips of burning the franchise's jerseys.
Cam Heyward wasn't happy with the response from fans. The seven-time Pro Bowler shared a tweet responding to a video of a fan burning his Steelers jersey.

"Thoughts First off why Minkah's jersey? That's bonkers ... Second Why burn when there plenty people that need clothes? Third You are going to regret it!!"

Heyward believes Rodgers will help the team to glory this upcoming season. Furthermore, he's not the only one with trust in the four-time NFL MVP's game. Rodgers' ex-teammate-turned analyst James Jones has been vocal in his support for the quarterback.
"Well, they (the Steelers) are a playoff team now," Jones said on Friday's episode of The Facility.
"Once you get to the playoffs, anything can happen. We all know you just want to punch your ticket to the dance. ... Coach Tomlin should have a smile on his face this morning because now your team has a chance to compete. ... I believe Aaron Rodgers still has a lot of good football left in him."
Kurt Benkert gives his verdict on Aaron Rodgers' future with the Steelers
Kurt Benkert played alongside Rodgers during his stint with the Packers in 2021. After the Super Bowl XLV champion finalized his deal with the Steelers, Benkert shared his thoughts on the development.
He highlighted the strength of the Steelers' defense while talking about Rodgers. Benkert believes that if the quarterback can find his spark, the Steelers could be one to watch out for this upcoming season.
"The Steelers defense this year will be one of the better defenses Aaron Rodgers has played with in his career. If he can get back to his efficiency play, with a nasty run game. They are poised to be an uncomfortable team to play against."
Apart from Rodgers, the Steelers also drafted ex-Ohio State star Will Howard in the sixth round of this year's draft. It's a good opportunity for the rookie to learn from an experienced campaigner.
