Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is nicknamed "Cheetah" due to his speed. He is considered one of the NFL's fastest players, if not the quickest. Hill recently went viral after issuing a challenge to YouTuber IShowSpeed at a major media event.
IShowSpeed has gained prominence in the sports world for his quickness and athleticism. He also beat influencer and social media celebrity Ashton Hall in four consecutive races, which caught the attention of Hill.
After the YouTuber defeated Hall, Hill challenged him to a race.

The wide receiver first challenged IShowSpeed after seeing him lose by a whisker in a viral $100K race to Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles in 2024. Hill said that he was faster, proposing that they should participate in a 40-yard dash competition.

"Speed is still, by far, the fastest streamer," Hill said on Saturday. “But, here’s what I thought: If Ashton Hall loses a few more pounds, he could actually beat Speed.
“ ... Speed, you’re the man. But you still can’t beat me and stop ducking me, dawg. I live in Miami, just like you live in Miami. Let’s go. Let’s get this thing going.”
Although IShowSpeed has not yet responded to Hill's challenge, fans are eager to watch two of the world's fastest men race.
Hill has established himself since entering the NFL as a fifth-round selection in 2016. He has been named to eight Pro Bowls and has won one Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Additionally, Hill made the 2010s All-Decade Team and has led the league in receiving yards and touchdowns. He aims to help Miami get back to playing postseason football this year after missing out last year.
Tyreek Hill also challenged Noah Lyles to a race
Tyreek Hill still believes he is faster than Olympic gold medallist Noah Lyles, and they have gone back-and-forth about it on social media. While a race hasn't happened yet, Hill said that he is still preparing in anticipation to face Lyles.
Hill added that he intends to race Lyles this summer, even though no date has been scheduled.
The wide receiver recorded a 100-meter dash time of 10.15 seconds. While this is slower than any time Lyles had in a 100-meter dash in recent years, Hill is not backing down.
