“Young bull is out there spinning” - Chad Johnson leaks reviews about Shedeur Sanders from Browns locker room

Shedeur Sanders has been in the limelight following an impressive run during the Cleveland Browns' offseason program. He has also been heavily linked with potentially getting the QB1 spot heading into the 2025 season.

While Sanders remains in contention to lead Cleveland's offense, former NFL wideout and current analyst Chad Johnson shared some inside information about the rookie quarterback's review.

“I talked to (Browns running back) Denzel Ward," Johnson said on Friday, via "Nightcap." "Damn, I shouldn’t say his name. But anyway, I talked to ‘some people,’ and (Shedeur) looked different. There’s a difference when that young bull is out there spinning that ball, you hear me? He looks different from the rest of the competition. That’s what I heard.”

Chad OchoCinco shared what he’s heard from Browns players about Shedeur Sanders…including the opinion of a team captain 👀

Ocho explained that players on the field in Berea say Shedeur has stood out, whether he’s going with the first, second or third team.

“He looks different from the rest of the competition. That’s what I heard.”

Sanders has received plenty of praise for his performances at the Browns' offseason program. It's somewhat of a redemption for him, who had a disastrous draft slide.

Sanders won the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in his final season at Colorado. His Buffaloes jersey was also retired by the program in April.

While many felt Sanders would be taken in the first round, the quarterback had to wait until the fifth round, on the final day of the event, to hear his name called by the Cleveland.

Shedeur Sanders has done a fine job in the Browns' offseason program before the break. However, the quarterback will need to continue his upward trajectory when he returns to the team for the preseason.

Since Sanders is a rookie, he has to do his best to pip veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett for the QB1 spot. He will also have competition from fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.

Cleveland also has Deshaun Watson in its quarterback room, but he is expected to miss the start of the 2025 season due to an Achilles injury.

While there is an opening for Sanders to get the starting berth, he'll have to grab the opportunity with both hands.
