The 2023 NFL free agency may be a while off, but that hasn't stopped fans and analysts alike from discussing where the top out-of-contract players will be heading next year.

Many of the league's top wide receiver talents, such as Stefon Diggs and Cooper Kupp, have been tied down to their teams for years to come, but just as many of the NFL's top receiver talent may hit free agency in 2023. Here are five of the best.

NFL best free agency wide receivers 2023

#5 - Mecole Hardman

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman is one of the top receivers due to his free agency in 2023.

The speedy wideman is still just 24 years old, and will have the interest of many NFL teams when the FA period rolls around.

In 2022, Hardman has six touchdowns to go along with 297 receiving yards. He's become a rushing threat, along with his receiving abilities in Andy Reid's dynamic Chiefs offense. He will likely be a valuable commodity in the free agency frenzy in 2023.

#4 - Parris Campbell

The Indianapolis Colts have struggled so far in 2022, sitting 3-7 after firing both their offensive co-ordinator and head coach as Matt Ryan and the team have struggled to get going on offense.

Despite this, receiver Parris Campbell has had a solid output so far, amassing 373 yards and three touchdowns on 39 receptions.

Since being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Campbell has struggled with injuries during his time in the league, but has already topped his previous best in yards and touchdowns in 2022 in just 10 games.

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has had an excellent 2022 season so far, as he's clocked 457 yards and three touchdowns in seven outings so far.

Meyers has been a favorite target of quarterback Mac Jones, who sees him as a safety blanket, comfortably leading the team in receiving yards and receptions.

The NC State alumni is currently in his fourth NFL season now, and has played his best football in his contract year in 2022. New England will surely look to tie him down to a long-term deal, but Meyers will garner plenty of interest in free agency.

#2 - Allen Lazard

The Green Bay Packers' wide receiver room could get even weaker if Allen Lazard leaves during 2023 free agency.

Aaron Rodgers lost Davante Adams during the 2022 offseason via trade, and there's a possibility his WR1 could leave in successive years.

Lazard leads all Packers receivers in yards with 472, and in touchdowns with five,as Rodgers struggles to find connections with his young wideout room.

Lazard is the veteran of this group, entering his fourth NFL season. Although, at just 26 years old, he will have plenty of football left in him, and will have plenty of interested teams vying for his signature.

#1 - JuJu Smith-Schuster

Many NFL fans were shocked when Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster rocked up in Kansas City during the 2022 offseason.

Despite struggling toward the end of his time with the Steelers, he's repaired his reputation with some excellent performances with the Chiefs this year.

JuJu has caught a pair of touchdowns, as well as amassing 615 receiving yards. His yardage puts him second behind Travis Kelce, as Patrick Mahomes has made an instant connection with the 25-year-old.

He only signed a one-year deal with KC, meaning he's due to hit the free agent market in 2023, and will definitely be sought after.
